Fudgy Brownies


Healthy brownies, sounds awesome right? 😉
What when I tell you that the secret ingredient are black beans! Does it still sound awesome?
This is chocolate fugdy rich goodness, try it, especially if you haven’t tried black bean brownies before! I guarantee others won’t know that there are black beans in them! 🙂

    • 1 can 15oz black beans / ~250g schwarze Bohnen
    • 3 eggs / 3 Eier
    • 1/2 cup unsweetend cacao / ~ 70g ungesüßter Kakao
    • 1/3 cup melted coconut oil / ~ 80g geschmolzenes Kokosnuss Öl
    • 1/3 cup oats  / ~ 50g Haferflocken
    • 4 tbsp honey  / ~ 4 EL Honig
      you can add more or less, I used some liquid sweetener too / Ihr könnt gern mehr od. weniger verwenden, ich habe noch etwas Süßstoff hinzugegeben
    • 1 tsp baking powder / ~ 1 TL Backpulver
    • pinch of salt / kleine Prise Salz
    • optional: some chopped dark chocolate (70%)


Just put everything into a food processor and add more of the sweetener (honey, agave, stevia) if necessary. You shouldn’t be able to taste the beans and the texture should be just like brownie batter. Add some extra sweetener if you want to and stir in some chopped dark chocolate. Don’t forget to eat some batter and lick the spoon! 😀

Bake for about 25 minutes at 350F (~175°C) or until a toothpick comes out clean! Enjoy!
