Basic Mugcake

Good morning everyone! I was really in the mood to make a mugcake for breakfast today, it’s simple and really filling! My brother looked really strange at me when he saw it, so I ‚forced‘ him to try.. aaaaand he liked it! Yej!
Here’s my recipe for a basic mugcake, you can switch it up however you want:

  • 1 dl oats (40g)
  • 1/2 banana
  • 2 egg whites
  • 3 tbsp non-fat greek yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • any sweetener of choice (honey, stevia)

Mix well with a handblender (oats will turn into flour) and put into a greased mug (I used coconut oil). Put a plastic foil onto the mug and cook in the microwave on max. heat for 1 – 1:30 minutes. Top with whatever you want or add some fruits into the batter before cooking. Enjoy! 🙂
